All of my adult life I have had irregular periods. I was recently put on Prometrium to start my period, which I do when I take the medication. My husband and I want to have a baby .My OB did a full blood work up (tsh, fsh, lh etc...) everything came back good. But my question is will I ovulate while taking this med. I start taking it around the 9th of each month and take it for ten days. I do have a period a couple days after taking it but I dont know if I ovulate . And If I do when would I?

Prometrium won't help one ovulate, it stabilizes things after ovulation...Medications such as clomid are used to help ovulate, talk to your gyne about this, and Clomid can be used with Prometrium (started 3 days after a positive OPK)
