your period depends on when or if you ovualted. once you ovulate then if not preggo your period should arrive 14 days later.

hey even my cycle is irregular now after my HSG in June. The first cycle i got my af on cd 29 and now its cd 39 and still no af and got - hpt. Not sure whether this change is due to HSG otherwise before hsg my cycle was very regular.

hsg doesn't effect ovulation ovualation begins in the brain and the hormones that the brain deals with. hsg is just the liquid being pushed thru the tubes the two don't have any cause or effect depend the two.

however if done after ovulation it can prevent pregnancy and should be performed before ovulation however after 14 days ovulation your body will know it isn't preggo and af will come

My HSG never affected my cycle in any way. I ovulated 4 days after my test.

I had an hsg don on July 31st cd8. I didn't get my period until cd35. I called my OB on cd33 and he said that the hsg could mess with ovulation. However my period was really really strange after my hsg. Only one day of heavy bleeding with most of the other days it was more like spotting. Im almost two weeks after I started and still have some spotting! Im soo confused.

I have my 1st period after having the HSG and it to is strange! 4 days early and sooo heavy and very painful!

I guess one of the positive things about having the hsg done is that chances of conceiving are suppose to be higher for the next 3 months!

My first period after my HSG was very light and not painful at all, and was a week late. However....two weeks later..I got another period...a normal one. Went to the dr for that because for me that was very abnorma. Asked the dr when he tought I could expect the next one...he said could be another two weeks or a month. Oh Im so confused. My dr confirmed the higher chance of conceiving after the HSG but said that the statistics were based on using the oil based dye not the water based. Best of luck and lots of baby dust!!!

I had an HSG test done a week & a half ago on cd 10( never spotted directly after the test) and now I am spotting very light ( i dont notice it umtil i wipe) and i am on cd 20, could this be from the HSG test or could it be implantion? Please help im so confused.
