If you're taking the combination of Clomid and Metformin, chances are you have PCOS and trouble ovulating. We REs agree that the most efficacious dose of metformin is 1500mg/day, but make sure your doctor at least once during the treatment cycle checks blood work to make sure your kidneys and liver are ok.

If you are ovulating 3-4 days after the last pill taken on day 9, then this is pretty much a normal cycle. I would simply recommend if you're doing this consistently to have intercourse at least every other day starting on day 9-10 or better yet, take an ovulation predictor kit to better time it.
