If AF Shows we are doing IVF

Well just had my appointment with the RE and we are going to move on for IVF+ ICSI
We have decided if AF shows Saturday, then we will start.
On CD 21 I will start the Lupron
I am not doing B/C so then I will do the Lupron for 2 weeks.. go back and get monitored.. then the next phase I think is the shote to get my old eggies nice and ripe.. again will go back and looking at retrieval and transfer around labor day.
I also decided that becuase we are doing ICIS- we will freeze any embryos that we do not use this round for the future.
At the most we will put 2 back in. This is so exciting!!

I just got AF and had two failed IUIs so it looks like we are moving to IVF too. I'm both excited and nervous at the same time. I will go in probably tomorrow for day2 U/S and start BC, I think you said you weren't doing the bc. Sounds like we will be around the same time with this so lets try to keep in touch. Lots of luck!!! Hopefully this will work for us both :O) ***BABY DUST***

We are doing ICSI becuase my DH is sick and also has low counts... so it will maximize my chances.. we will to that will all the mature eggies, she is hoping for around 20.. and we will put 2 back in and freeze the other embryos for future use if need be...so thats the plan..

Marc gave his first frozen sample Tuesday, the best one yet.. somewhere near 40 million sperm.. after ther wash they were able to freeze almost 10 million! and since we are opting for ICSI, we have plenty to choose from! He is doing another frozen sample today... How are you doing??

I'm praying you get your BFP this Saturday! If not I think you have a very good plan! I hope and pray your DH starts feeling better soon hun. He seems like such a great guy and a trooper! I just have this feeling it is wrong. That test clearly shows positive. Which test did they do.
Have them do a quan. The yes no test isn't always right. I know that my yes/no test came back neg after I had a very faint +HPT with Isabella and low and behold I did end up pregnant.

Yeah I dont get it. Are you sure they didnt get it mixed up with someone elses. This happened to someone on here with there progesterone results. I know its not always likely but heck it happens a lot more then you think.
I would wait it out and see what happens but if no AF I would take a test in a couple days and if its positive too, call the doctor of course and take that darn test with you! Say look at this why is this positive.

Hi - I have completly stopped spotting ( for now) I have been up , went grocery shopping.. the only thing I can think of is there is a girl that also sees my RE with the same name, the odds of them mixing me with her.. I know this becuase one day they called and the nurse told me to make sure I always spell my first name because of this.. OMG I am so confused.. how can a HPT be wrong?
i dont get it caryn! That was a dark HPT so its not like it could be wrong. You cant get a false +, either you have HCG in your body or you dont, pretty simple i would guess. Plus, my HPT's were abou that dark when my beta was at 190!

See now im thinking that has to be what could have happened. There has to be a mix up. I would say take another HPT in the morning, since you didnt take one this morning, right? See what that turns up as, and if its darker then the day before I would call and say can I retest today or tomorrow. Thats honestly what I would do!

I did not take one this morning, because it was so positive yesterday, and I even looked at it this morning and its still there, no fading..

It could have got mixed up with anyone, doesnt mean she has to have the same name. The lab makes mistakes, heck its Monday for crying out loud...haha. They could have mixed it up somehow in the lab and been like crap which was which, and just guessed. I knwo it seems far fetched but anything is possible, I just dont see how you can get positive HPTs and negative blood, does not make any sense, even if you were having a MC there would be HCG in your system still. Which we all pray thats not happening, I def dont think it is, and I think there is a sticky baby in there :)
Caryn- I'm so sorry to hear your news. I was so excited for you. Gosh how crazy that you had that BFP at home!!! I'm sure that you are excited to start IVF and we can keep in touch because we will be close together with our procedures. I just went in today for my trial transfer and met with the doc. to discuss details. Wishing you lots and lots of luck that you bring home your little angel or angels (if twins are something you would like) with your next cycle!!! HUGS
Hey Jenstar- I was very excited since it was so dark.. Funny thing is.. I got my "period" Monday night, assumed it was the real deal.. I did put a tampon in, and went to bed, full flow.. but then yesterday barely anything and slept with nothing last night and woke up fine.. I wonder how many hours you need to bleed for to be a true period.. Today would be my day 2, normally my heaviest day.. but I am fine.. I am only asking this becuase I scheduled my IVF based on starting my period yesterday which was basically light to spotting..any advice?
Gosh, can things get any more confusing for you!!!UUUGGGG Well, my friend has AF that only lasts like two days believe it or not but if this isn't the "norm" for you then I might test again to be sure because one can be preggo and still get AF but I don't think it happens too often. ...When you say today would be day 2 heaviest day but you are fine does that mean you aren't bleeding at all or it just isn't heavy? Do you have all your meds to begin IVF cycle or are you going in again before starting? You can, just to be safe ask the doc. to do another preggo test if you are going in again to give you peace of mind. I do notice that AF can change from month to month with all this ttc but not too drastically. Keep us posted!! Sorry you are going through all this!! HUGS :O)

Im wishing you the best, and hoping you get an answer soon, not only for your sanity but for getting IVF scheduled if you arent pregnant.

Haha Jolene- I thought of that.. but I would assume if that was true the blood work would have picked up some pregnanct.. DAMN I wish the nurse told me the number.. I asked her and she just said a value less than 5 means not pregnant.. but could have been 5 but very low anyways.. I guess if I start to feel different or gain weight I will.. but right now I am not ready.. besides my good friend (who does not even want more kids right now she has 2) just told me today she is 10 weeks preggo..she looks pretty sad that she is.. I just do not get it, I want a baby so desperatly and here she is getting another one.. I know I should be happy for her and I am , I am just sad that its not me.. I just needed to vent
I know how you feel, at times like that it just doesnt seem fair to why someone who doesnt want anymore can be blessed with such an amazing miracle. I know that when im done im done, and I will take every precaution to make sure it doesnt happen, and if it does that just means God wanted me to have another child and I would be happy.

i remember when my best friend told me she was preggo on the phone w/her 1st - we were just out of high school and she was scared. I wanted to scream congrats but instead i said "are we happy you are pregnant" and i waited to hear her answer..... it felt like 4ever and she finally said "of course". My heart dropped cuz even tho we were young i knew she would be a great mother. her 2nd was not planned either and although a shock, also a blessing.
I know Chels- I wonder if doing IVF I am trying to play "God" I wonder if my lining had not been so thin would we have gotten it.. Som nay thoughts run thru my head..
I am curious if IVF has better results when the woman does not have the issue- Like I am supposedly fine and DH has the count problem.. also if doing ICSI makes for a better chance of success
