From reading your message above, is it possible that maybe, just maybe, you may have ovulated later than you thought, and maybe you aren't quite 14dpo yet?

Also, those internet cheapies may not be strong enough to detect the pregnancy hormone. I would wait another day or two and maybe take a digital pregnancy test. Those are so much more accurate and can detect for pregnancy better!!

UPDATE- NO AF, and not a symptom of her showing at all.. I am beginning to get nervous, what if I am not preggo and my AF is not coming, whats wrong with me this has NEVER happened before well once but I was preggo... Gosh I hope nothing is wrong with me.

I did take my temp this morning for the hell of it I know one temp means nothing but it was 98.2 I just used the regular digital thermometer..

I guess its time for me to put a call into the RE

I have not re tested, One becuase I am out of tests.. and Two- I am scared :)

I do not feel preggo, nor do I feel like AF is coming, I am starting to get worried that if I am not, then something is wrong in 19 years I have never missed a period (only when preggo with DS) and I was late in October but I think I had ovulated later that I thought, I was not usuing OPK.. This month I know I got my + On 6/16 and got a 21 day progesterone of 87 so I am 100% sure I ovulated

What are the reasons one does not get a period if not preggo?

if you have a dollar store or dollar tree store near you, they are supposed to have really sensitive tests!

yes thats not the issue- I run a daycare and just cannot get up and got to the store LOL! We have a CVS- but I am sure the RE will have me come in for blood work.. and I would rather not waste the $$ if its negative

The only reason I can think of, Caryn..is a cyst. I hope its not that..and most likely you'd feel some sensitivity down there around your ovaries.

Kelli- that can stop you from having AF? Maybe I do have one OMG I hope not, perhaps thats why my progesterone was so high??

No, you would get the cyst after o..and yes it could prevent af from coming. Do you have any sensitivity or pressure..or does it ache a little when going up and down the steps??

I know when I had one the cycle I did follistim and iui it was painful like going up and down steps..etc. Not sure if everyone is the same??

The more and more I read, I am thinking I have a cyst.. I am never late.. and I took a HPT yesterday and it was negative... If I do have a cyst its my own fault becuase the RE told me to come in for U/S monitoring on CD 3 and I couldn't and then she told me not to take round 2 of clomid incase I did have a cyst.. but I came on here and read that lots of girls take clomid each month with out U/S monitoring, so I decided to take it anyways.. I was using OPK's to make sure I ovulated which I do on my own anyways and I did get my + OPK at night June 16th and went in for 21day progesterone and it was 87 so I know I did ovulate for sure.. and expected AF Tuesday at the latest. I have no signs of her coming , nor am I in any pain at all.. I am gonna be so sad if I have to get meds to indice AF and go on BC pills to get rid of a cyst! This is annoying.. I should have listened!

Caryn, don't blame yourself. If you got af last time, then no cyst. If you do have one now, yes its from taking clomid again..but it would've happened with or without dr's ok. I sure hope you are prego..but if its a cyst..it won't take long to go away.

Hey Caryn, I know it's easier said than done, but please try not to worry until you know for sure that it's a cyst. Try to cross that bridge when you get to it, and in the meantime see what the Dr says, it could be that your HGC levels aren't high enough yet and you could still be preggie. I really hope so. Try not to beat yourself up, honey.

Ok RE just called Blood work tomorrow morning at 8:30am...

Caryn I had 2 cysts at the same time and it never affected my af. It took me a while to get rid of them. I really believe that this is your month. Good luck sweetie I'm sure that everything is fine.

How long will it take to get the results from the BW?

I took 50 MG CD 4-8 although I alway O on my own, I take it to get more targets for DH's sperm to get at ( he has a slight male factor issue)

Thanks Maggie- My only concern is I took an HPT yesterday and it showed a BFN... I am tired but having lots of chills and hot flashes.. I almost feel like I do when I have a fever although I do nto feel sick at all.. I even have goosebumps and its 80 degrees here

Well I think I might now be out, I just peed and when I wiped I got some oragne tinge to the TP.. I am not cramping, but probably will get AF in the morning.. oh well In a way I am glad becuase that means I do not have a cyst.. Although I am never late.. I guess there is a first for everything

You know Caryn being on clomid can sometimes change your cycles a bit. Maybe that is what is going on here?

wow ladies.. I am new to this forum.. i just read this whole post. What a rollercoaster. I was really pulling for you Caryn. Sorry it didn't work this month! Like you I am never late.. always 27 days.. and last month i went through a similar thing. AF was due on a thursday.. and didn't show until the tuesday. I had a slight line ... had to hold it up to the light.. on my pregnancy test.. rushed to the clinic for a test. I had a positive test.. but with low numbers.. had to go back 2 days later.. they said the numbers weren't doubling. Two days later my period came. The doctor said it was probably a "chemical pregnancy". I was an emotional wreck.. so excited to be pregnant.. then so disappointed I wasn't.

Clomid this month.. days 3 - 8. Right now i have one big beautiful eggo waiting to pop! (day 12)

Caryn.. Im so sorry hun! I was so hoping that this was ur month. Im glad to hear that ur taking it very well. I know how bad u wanted this but at least u can try next month :) I hope that ur not still taking the Clomid since it can cause a cyst without being monitored at the docs office.

thanks Katie- yes I am going in tomorrow for a baseline ultrasound, hopefully I am cyst free and we can continue on.. I am considering on IUI possibly this month since most likely I will be ovulating next weekend

Caryn.. that is good and I hope that there is no cyst. IUI might be the thing that u and DH need. When we save the money then we will be trying IUI only once tho. After that then we will not do anything else but pray that the lord gives us one of our own oneday!

I will be praying for u and hope that everythigng turns out good. I will be waiting to here how it turns out.

katie why is your IUI so expensive I think mine is only $350.00

Caryn.. Im not sure. I assume that is b/c there is only 1 doc here that does fertility treatment. $1300 is for everything. It covers meds, U/S, docs visits and the transfer. I wish it didnt cost that much b/c we would have already done it by now.

Ur lucky that it only costs $350 so I would be doing it a few times if it costs me that much! LOL!

hmm interesting Katie- We have 100% Fert coverage.. the $350.00 is for the sperm wash and prep which goes thru a urology office then when the sample is ready we take it to the RE for insemination..

Well I hope we both will be able to do it and get bet a baby(s)

You're welcome!!! I know how frustrating it is when you are ttc with no bfp, but you seem to be handling it so well. I was depressed month after month. We kept trying and the doc told me that they wouldn't do anything until after ttc for 1 year with no pregnancy. Luckily after 6 months, I finally got pregnant. I always thought that because of the fact that when I was younger I had cysts on both ovaries and perhaps that could be causing me problems. I really thought that maybe my ovaried were damaged, but thank God, everything worked out. The one scary part was when I went for my first u/s at 8 weeks, the doc thought that he saw a cyst in my uterus. I had to wait 6 weeks ato go for another test to find out if there was indeed a cyst or not. It turned out that there was no cyst, but I was freaking out everyday thinking "oh god what is wrong with me...this can cause problems for my baby" it was really hard.

thanks Fergie I am looking like this that I have been blessed with one baby, and if it happens, it happens, its out of my control. I know in my heart God will bless us again, its just not gonna happen on my time table! So I have learned patience, lots of patience :)

That's what I was telling myself...God will give us a baby in due time and luckily it is happening for us. It's good that you are so patient but I know that when you get that bfp you will be screaming from the rooftops. I wish you all the luck in the world, I know that it is coming soon for you.
