I just want to say Thank You...and onto IVF!!!!!!!!!!

OMG boy these past 24 hours have been a roller coaster for me, First a + HPT, then a negative Beta.. my period a day late.. I just want to express to all of you THANK YOU.. I could not be getting thru all of this with out you.. You all keep me positive and hopeful...
So with out further to do..drum roll please.... AF has now showed in force!..Guess I can say I had a Chemical Pregnancy.. which is ok cause at least I know I can get pregnant... I am usually a 3 day AF girl... which mean onto IVF !!!
I start my Lupron on August 18th (Gosh that sounds far away) and retrieval will be on September 9th and transfer is scheduled for September 12th.... I hope this will be my final leg of my TTC Journey. We plan to transfer 2 Embryos and freeze the rest in case we need them.. we will be doing IVF + ICSI

Caryn we are here for you 110%. We will be there to support your every step of the way. You truly are an inspirational woman!!! You are right when you say that at least you know you can get pregnant!! Your time is coming and very very soon!!! I just know it!! Sending lots of love and hugs your way!!!! ONTO IVF!! CHEERS!!!

i have been at the beach and just read your post-- just got home! :) i am so excited for you!!! i am just curious as to why they didnt want you to try another IUI again nd instead had you go right away to the IVF? this is very exciting..we are still trying to debate what we should do. i will definitely keep you posted..please keep me posted as well!!! :) lots of luck to you!!!

Hey Jensateacher! LONG TIME!!! Well to be honest I am sick of waiting, and DH was diagnosed with Lyme Disease..becuase he had an issue with low sperm, and now the sickness possible effecting it more.. we (my RE and me) decided it best to do IVF+ICSI so we froze 2 vials of DH's sperm.. one vile contains 9.8mill the other 34million. The RE will extract all the mature eggs and inject each one with DH sperm, then we will put 2 back in, and then freeze the rest of them for future use.. so I pray we get alot of eggies and in the hopes if this does not work the first time, say if we have like 15 eggies (15 chances!) to do get it right! Providing they all survive the thaw! So I am nervous, excited I just know this HAS to work! I am praying everynight that it does

And August 18th isn't THAT far away! (that's the day i can take progesterone to induce my cycle! ha! It better not be that far away!)
I think watching the YouTube videos for the shots is a pretty good idea- that way you can actually see it being done!

I'm actually awaiting the news of my SIL's IVF. She had her transfer on Sunday and we should find out as early as Aug 5th.
They've been trying for 5 years. I just know this will work for them! (and you know what.. the odds are even better for you.. in her 5 years of TTC.. she didn't even get 1 chemical..)
I can't wait to hear the news.. :)
