I just found out I have endometriosis. Would vitex be a good treatment?

I just had a laparoscopy/hysteroscopy and found out I have some endometriosis (i am 37 and TTC). They cleaned it all up (both tubes were blocked) and now I can try naturally. My concern is this....I am afraid it will grow back. I have all kinds of issues with estrogen dominance (long period cycles, weight gain, and now endometriosis)...do you think vitex is a good thing to take for this? I took it several years ago and it made my 40 day cycles into perfect 28 days ones. then, after two months it just stopped working and my periods were really long again. Also, my tubes were both open 1 1/2 years ago (had a HSG) so that means the growth of the endo has been recently pretty agressive.

any opinions?
