i am confused on ovulation

ok so we are trying and i can feel when i ovulate but i am not sure how long after my period i can tell i am ovulating and fertile i want to get this right. i get my periods usually 27-28 days i think. so when after do we you know?? should i be taking prenatal pill's also?

I would try using an ovulation predictor kit which will tell you before you ovulate and I think it is a good idea to start taking prenatal vitamins. I asked my doctor about taking prenatal vitamins and he highly recommended me taking them especially since I am trying to get pregnant. Hope this helps! Baby Dust to you :)
