Yes, your RE would definitely be able to pick up on hyperstimulation. How many dpo are you?

Hi Jessica, one of our girls, Kan, is going thru this right now in an ivf cycle, so may want to ask her. I just had an ivf transfer yesterday and they told me signs to watch for are not peeing as much, rapid weight gain and fever. I've done an injectable with clomid cycle b/f and had pain and tenderness from the cysts...that might be it.

My bet on just 50 mg of clomid..sounds like cyst which is normal and may just = a preg!

HI, I am about 7dpo....I have been peeing normally and my weight gain has fluctuated about 1 LB So not much......I was concerned about my tummy tenderness~

If you haven't rapidly gained weight like 4 or 5 lbs..its probably not hyperstim..probably a cyst

Kelli, are you saying that the pain I am feeling may be from a cyst??? I can handle that opposed to hyperstimulation

Is it real tender like when you go to stand up etc?

I would agree with Kelli. It is probably just cysts that form after the egg is released. Are you in pain?

Just try not to be overactive and lift a lot of weight, ok...if anything changes I would then call your doc...

Not pain....just tenderness in the abdomen when having intercourse mostly.

That's normal after ovulating so many follicles.

I am having this problem also. I am on day 4 of my 2nd clomid cycle this time around and today I woke up with severe pain in my left side,starting right below the belly button but further to the left side. It also travels to my back at times, cant tell if I have actually been peeing less, but I know it will not go away for anything and I also have alot of bloating. Could this be overstimulation this early in the cycle?

Hyperstim is not very common with clomid alone and usually doesn't appear til after ovulation.

I was diagnosed with hyperstimulation 3 days ago. After 9 days of 75IU of Gonal F injections we had to stop everything for the rest of this cycle and next cycle. I was told to drink a lot of Gatorade but I don't know for how long. When does this go away? I've probably already ovulated so does it start to go away after that? If anyone has any information about this please pass it on to me. Thanks!

it shud go away in less than 7 days.
