I am 5w1d preggo and have been having some pain. They told me that my estradiol levels were over 4000 and that I am hyperstimulated. Is this normal after IVF?
There are mild, moderate and severe forms of hyperstimulation which can occur after IVF...primarily in younger patients with >20 eggs retrieved and PCOS patients are at highest risk..
Well my e2 was in the high 2000s the day I triggered, but shot up to 4000 yesterday. I am just having a lot of cramping and my ovaries are still huge. My progesterone level is 168.
There is no treatment...just managing the symptoms...Drinking Gatorade, trying to keep blood clots from occuring, eating, sometimes IV Hydration, Removing excessive fluid transvaginally/transabdominally for relief...
Weighing one's self and measuring urine output is always important..
Kan I really Hope Everything is OK. Hang in there and Drink plenty of fluids and get plenty of rest. When will DH be back? So sorry you have to go through this alone right now, well we are here but just not the same as DH. Praying for you dear.
I'm sorry ur in pain. That's why I was trying to see how you were the other day. Take care of yourself. My e2 levels went up to about 3600 on day of trigger and 6000 around retrieval. I survived it and so will you. I know it hurts but just take the good Drs advice and try to relax.
