All I saw was the right tube had like a very small bend. she said it was like a millimeter in size. I'm so worried that this is what is making it difficult to conceive. thoughts?
HSG Results???
May 23, 2008
I had my HSG exam yesterday and it wasn't as bad as I thought but it definitely was uncomfortable. The results were that the dye did pass through both tubes.
However, one of the tubes (right) was very narrow compared to the left one that was pretty beefed up in comparison to the right. The doctor said it may be scar tissue or a polyp??
After this cycle of clomid, she wants to do a Hysteroscopy. My follicles usually mature faster on the right. Could this be that the sperm can get through. I'm so stressed out about it. I've never been pregnant so i dont understand the scar tissue.
Thank you for any help

I would get a second opinion too!
Here's my situation..kinda similar. WE have one child conceived on first try. Second is almost 2 yrs now. Did and hsg last June. Dye went thru both tubes but kinda got stuck on the right side at first. The flipped me onto my side and it flowed thru. The tech said the results were good and he didn't see it as a prob. WEll, I just started seeing an re and he isn't for sure if it is or not. So we said to hell with it..try ivf b/c that has nothing to do with the tubes. What is ironic to me..is I almost always o on that side and the last 2 times I got preg...both were chemical..but on the left side. So, if IVF doesn't work, may consider laprascopy to see what's up in there.
Good luck to you. One thing with clomid or injectables..you may just get that left side to o!
