It hurts a little, but the pain passes SO quickly. I had one over a year ago, but the pain doesn't linger and you can take tylenol or advil afterwards.

it was uncomfy but hurt i wouldnt say it hurt. And it is such a quick test taht if it does actually hurt, its only for about 20 seconds. I did cramp and was not all that happy for about 2 or 3 days after the test.

I would deff take some tylenol or Advil or something b4 you go for the test to help with that.

I was the last of 6 or 7 of us to get it in the waiting room at the hospital, so I got to hear the reaction from everyone who went before me. Seems like it felt differently for most people but in general it sounded like most everyone including me felt some strong like cramping during the procedure and the dr. has you move around so he can see everything and that can be a little uncomfortable. Just like Chels says, take some pain meds like tylenol or advil and it will be over rather quickly. Some people didn't feel a thing!!
