hpt at 10 DPO

Sounds like you did ovulate- You may want to ask for doctor for progesterone supplements. 7.9 is a value that indicates some form of ovulation, however it is a lower value. You can test at 10 DPO- but best to wait until 12 or 14 DPO Good Luck

Thank you Caryn I feel like everyday is so long but i am keeping my fingers crossed! Should i be on a progesterone supplement now? What if i am not, does it mean that i may not have enough progesterone to maintain a pregnancy if indeed i am pregnant? Thanks for your input.

I usually have 28 day cycles but i did ovulate pretty late not until day 20 or 21 so i am confused about when i should take a hpt.

Crystal N- Well I am not a doctor- but if you are pregnant, which you very well could be- you doctor may suggest supplememnts to help hold the pregnnacy.. Are you going to test? If you do, and get a (-) do not be discouraged cause its still a bit early!

why would your doc say there is a strong possibility that you are preggo? Thats not cool, what if you are not and then you were excited about that. That would upset me, he cant tell by your progesterone levels anything except if you ovulated.

DId you take meds this time or do an IUI?

I got + at 10DPO every time but i tend to have high HCG levels in the begining of a pregnancy where others start off much lower and dont get a + til 14DPO.

I think that i am going to wait and test on Sunday if i can actually make it that long it seems like an eternity when you have to wait. The doctor called and told me that i should have started AF on tuesday based on my previous cycles but i ovulated late so now i don't know what to do?

you wont get AF until 14 days after ovulation - well some ladies have a 13 day LP not 14.

The RE just basically said to call him on monday with my test results and that he was sure that i would get a postive result. I think maybe they just try to keep you postive until things say otherwise i guess. I am on Femara and metformin to help me conceive but we have not done iui because i have PCOS and apparently iui in PCOS patients does not necessarily help the chances it is really weird.

maybe he did a cheater test when you went in for you progesterene testing? My RE does those and then just doenst say anything to us about it.

A lot of ladies on this site have gotten preggo with IUI's and have PCOS. Summer is one of them and she is preggo with twins, Keller did too and i know that shelly got preggo and just had her twins - i know she has endo but i think PCOS too. Maybe its worth a shot? Do you have a male factor too?

Lol...my RE does cheater test all the time. They knew I was preggo during my IVF cycle before they told me!!!

Count 14 days past ovulation that and that will give you a pretty good idea when the best time to test is!

I had a +OPK last Monday so 11 days ago now. Can they do a cheater test even if i did not do iui or ivf? I really don't feel pregnant but i don't have any AF signs either which is very strange for me. Thank you for telling me about the others who have PCOS and still had great success with iui and/or ivf. I don't think that we are at that stage yet because that is about 15 grand for the ivf plus 4500 in drugs where i live. The iui is only about $2000 plus the cost of drugs but still a little steep. Lucky for us we do not have a male factor so that is good for us in that respect. I have 1 little boy who just turned 5 and we had no problem at all conceive him exactly when we wanted to so this is so weird to me. We have tried for going on 6 months with fertility drugs and still nothing or maybe something now we just don't know yet. Thank you girls for all of your help and encouragement i really look forward everyday to coming on here to talk and have all of my questions answered by women who know how it feels!!
