False negatives are very rare with urine hpt...One should get a period upto 16dpo, but one needs to be certain ovulation occurred, because if it didn't, one would not get period until it does, as ovulation is required for one to have a period 14days later...

It has been 16 DPO... and still no period! Do I need to go to a dr?

You could go to your doctor and they can test you to see if you've ovulated or not and they can also give you a medication to take to bring on your period.

Surprise I did get my BFP but not until 11 days after AF was due :)

Congratulations Malarie, you give me hope! AF was due monday for me and I've had two BFN's one monday and one this morning :-/

Congratulations to you!!!! the day my period was late my HPT said negative, and the next day to. at 8 days late i got a BFP! made me realise never to give up hope till AF arives.(i miscarried)

congratulations....im in the same boat as you were...im 11 days late now and im still getting bfn...i guess sometimes it take a little while for it to show up...im going to give a little more time and go to the doc if af doesnt show up..i have never been late before....congrats again...
