We have now been ttc for 8 months. My worry stemmed from really light periods. My doctors tested me on day 4 of cycle to rule out prolactin (I breast fed for 2 months) and on day 21 - my progrestrone and FSH level all normal. They also ruled out premature ovarian failure.
I had a scan to reveal that the 'OS was not occuled' and there was no uterian scarring.
But it did reveal that my endometrial lining was only 3.6mm on day 24.
They have said they want to 'await events' as there are no upper or lower threshold for endometrial thickness, where natural conception does or does not occur.
My question is three-fold:
- Would you agree that I can still get pregnant with a thin lining?
- What might have caused this? (I had normal periods up to the birth of my daughter) and lastly:
- Are there any methods I can try to increase lining?
FYI: I am 32 years old.
Many thanks in advance for any advice you can offer me.
