how to ovulate sooner

Hi,

Will taking clomid cd 3/7 help you ovulate sooner than on cd 5/9? I've done one round on 5/9 and my husband will be out of town when I'm supposed to ovulate on this next round of clomid, so I'm wondering if I should start the clomid a bit earlier...?

Joey- unfortunately it might not help you ovulate sooner. I took clomid cd 3-7 and didn't ovulate until cd 28! Just make sure you are using opk's so that you know when you ovulate- it could be before he leaves or after he gets back!...but bd right before he leaves and right when he gets back- maybe you will catch one of those! :)
