how to conceive faster

I have just got married and I am planning for babies. I want to know my fertility or ovlution days where i can try to have an intercourse and be able to conceive. I have periods after every 3 weeks and my friend has said that one cannot conceive every 7days before periods and 10days after periods.So, if I consider this there is only a few days or rather no day where I become fertile.Please explain me my doubts and tell me the ovlution time.In August I am having my periods from 11 can u tell me the ovlution time in this month.

Hi Ayesha if you are having your period every 3 wks you need to visit your dr for testing. Anything below 21 days of a period is a cause of concern. Most likely you are not ovulating and need to get your hormones checked and also pap smear and u/s for your ovaries. Good luck and keep us posted!!!!

One ovulates about 14 days prior to having their period...If you are truly interested in knowing when you ovulate, always best to check ovulation predictor kits, as one can not accurately predict upcoming ovulation especially when one's cycles are irregular
