Dr. Q and Ladies,

I am avidly planning for my bfp! I was wondering, when you do IVF, is the due date still calculated by the date of your last menstrual cycle or is it calculated by the tranfer date?

I am just wondering.

We had a loss on March 6th and I have prayed since that day God would bless us with our new baby by that time next year!

Add two weeks from the day of retrieval since this is when conception occurred (or date of IUI), and this is how it's calculated to get a "theoretically accurate" LMP and add 40wks to this.

Hi, Now I'm really confused. I always read and heard that we start counting from the 1st day of our last AF. My RE gave me a due date of Dec. 8th but if I calculate with the above info I'm not due until Jan. 5th. That is almost an entire month off. I am 10 weeks today, 40 weeks would be December. Hummm
