How much does the uterine lining grow a day?

I have been taking 2mg of estrace 3 times a day plus wearing the vivelle dot patches since Monday, the 29th. My lining was 7.2!! I am schedule to start progesterone on the 11th. Will my lining be too thick by then? They reduced my estrace to just twice a day and I go back in on Monday for another u/s.

There is no definate growth rate for lining that I'm aware of, unlike follicles that we know grow 1-2mm/day
