How many IVF cycles until your BFP

tftlove--I'm 18 weeks pregnant on my 2nd ivf attempt. My first ivf was last Dec. I got pregnant but my betas didn't rise appropriately and I miscarried in January. My next ivf was in May and was successful. I wish you much luck on your journey. It's emotionally and financially draining but we know it'll be worth it in the end. Our ivf clinic had a shared risk program where we paid more money and had 3 fresh cycles/3 frozen cycles to get pregnant. We would have received %75 of our money back if none worked.

For many, it does take more than one attempt, while it working depends on one's prognosis that only after a full evaluation from your doc can this determination be given

tftlove - Have you decided whether or not you're going to try another IVF cycle? I'm in the very beginning stages of my first and as excited as I am that this will hopefully work, I'm also cautious that it may not. Just curious as to what you decided to do.

Sorry I was not online for a while but we are going to give it a another try! I have my first appointment today b/c I am on the 2nd day of my menstrual cycle. According to the nurse my retrieval and transfer will be the week of December 14th. Good luck to everyone!!
