hi myname is christy im 21 years old. my husband and i are ready to have a baby. i have been on the birthcontrol (yasmin) for 5months. i had went to the doc(obgyn) to see why i had not got preg yet well, she told me that i had irreg. periods and that i needed to get them reg. so she put me on birthcontrol for 6months. the end of sept will be 6months. im asking will ig et preg right away? or is there any special idea or comments that i need to know about getting preg faster? do i count the day of my period? should i buy a firtility test? thanks

If you desire to get pregnant and want your periods to be regular, Clomid or Femara are the pills that will do this for the majority of people. These pills will not work if you're not regulating because you're thin from exercise or stress.
The first day of your period is counted as Day 1 and continue counting from here. I always advocate OPKs for people ttc and we're hopeful that within 6 months of taking clomid, you'll be pregnant. We hope you read, learn, and participate in this site, and please keep us posted
