It's currently 4 am. Since 9 pm I've been having contractions consistently... but not regularly! They get more intense and closer together... then they slow down... then they speed up... then they slow down.... over and over and over again!!!! When they slow down, I'm still having cramping in my cervix, and pressure in my low back and rectum....
I'm not sure what to expect I guess, as I was induced with my son.... and even that didn't go quite "normally" as I didn't start having "REAL" contractions until my water broke... and then it happened all at once...
So.. is this just a really prolonged early labor? Or false labor? Is there even a way to know the difference at this point? If I didn't have to worry about making arrangements for someone to come stay with my son, I'd just go in and have them check and see if I'm dilating.. but I really don't want to wake someone up at 4 am if it's not the real thing.... I feel sooooo confused
