Thanks Dr. Q. Another question..My RE said as you, that I might not ovulate this month with the cyst. He also said, "then again maybe the high estrogen will create a very good egg this month". Can you give me any background to that comment? Also, if I do ovulate this month, would it most likely be on day 14 like all my other normal months? FYI, before the clomid therapy, I was very regular, OPK on day 12, ovulation on day 14, period on day 27. Last month the clomid caused me to not ovulate and I had to induce it w/the shot. Because we were growing my follicles, and my ovulation was induced, my ovulation moved out to day 18. Then I got my period on the normal 14 days later. So now as I am waiting for the cyst to go down, if I ovulate this month is it likely I will ovulate on or around day 14 like my normal cycle then get my period on day 27 or is everything just messed up and there is no way of knowing?
High temperature with a cyst
November 19, 2007
Since I have been charting my temps, I have had normal biphasic charts. My base line temp before ovulation was always under 97.7 and after ovulation over 98.2. I found out from my doctor on day 2 of my period this month that I have a cyst with an estrogen level of 800. Since the first day of my period this month my temperature has been 98.2 - 98.4. Is that normal? And is the cyst causing the high temps to stay high?

Yep, it's the cyst doing this, and basically have to wait until it goes away to have a good shot at ttc :( Hang in there, and once you get a bleed "period", you can start again...
Good luck, and keep us posted...
