I have just received news that I have FSH levels of 21 on day 2 of my cycle. My results are going to be sent to a specialist to look at for further opinion.

Is this going to be a major issue - I am only 29.

We have been trying for about 2 years now...

Hi hjp,

This value will depend much on the assay and standardization of your lab...

In most labs though, an FSH of 12 will bring about some significant problems in your attempt to ttc

Dear Dr Q - Thank you for your response.

I was warned that this may be the case by my GP. She mentioned an early menopause or perhaps problems with my eggs. Do you think it is time I should see a specialist?
