Dr. Q, I read that some of your pts. had implantation bleeding. Well I'm 5DPO and for the last couple days I've had constant pressure in my lower abd. especially when walking. I also have on and off pain on either side. Any need for concern or could this be a good thing? (implantation pain?!!!). Thanks for everything. Firewife

Dr.Q, I had insemination on 06/29 and had an early blood draw on 07/03. The quantitative results were 19.2 and the qualitative was positive. Is this truly a postive result? If not, when would be the earliest time to test again? Thank you, Firewife

If you had your IUI on 6/29, today would put you at 5 dpo. The hCG shot you took to trigger ovulation for your IUI will be present for at least 7 dpo. I'm sorry, but checking this early always gives a false positive result. The earliest you can check to see if you have a positive result is 10 dpo, and if positive then, we can truly say that you are pregnant. Please keep us posted, and GOOD LUCK!
