does anyone know what a saline ultrasound and if it hurts and how they do it cause my doctor told me im going to have one done and im scared cause i did a hsg and it was horrible.... thanks.

I had the saline ultrasound done and it does not hurt. they inject salint into the tubes to make sure they are clear. you are awake and it does not hurt it feels like a pap smear.why would they do that when you already had the hsg done?
