Here we go again!! Day 1 of Cycle 4, 3rd IUI

Well AF came last night so on to round 3 for the IUI's and Clomid.

My RE says this is the last cycle for that before we have a counseling session to discuss other options.

Oh please let round 3 be the charm !!!

I requested my RE increase the dose from 100mg to 150 to see if that will help any. I am an early O'er so I am always seen on day 9 and trigger. Last IUI was on day 10 and the 1st IUI was done on Day 11 so I asked them to reevaluate that too since this is the last Clomid IUI cycle they will allow me to do.

After 3 years and 5 miscarriages something has to work soon doesnt it?? I am starting to panic. My 37th birthday is on November 29th so all I hear is the constant ticking, Its making me crazy.

DH was devastated this time when we got the BFN. He was so sweet yesterday and suggested maybe we take a break and give my body a rest but I told him with my age I dont have that luxury. He is only 32....and a guy so he doesnt understand the time thing although he is quickly becoming an expert on this whole fertility thing.......

My RE just called and they are counting yesterday as Cycle Day 1 because of my short cycles.

So today is cycle day 2.

They are going to see me on cycle day 8 which is October 23rd for US and they determine when to trigger from there.

My request to increase my Clomid to 150mg was denied. They said 100mg is the perfect dosing for me based on my bw.

So here we go......

Cycle Day 7 today and I go to the doctors tomorrow AM for US to see how many follicles and if they are ready to go....

Then it will be a go for the 3rd and final IUI with Clomid.....

Man, I hope this works!!

Went for the US this AM and it appears there are 3 on the right to of which are almost ready and 4-5 on the left 2 of which are almost ready.

I have to go back for another US tomorrow AM to check them again then decided when to trigger and do IUI......

I am optimistic because this is the best response we have had so far....One of them at least has to wanna stick around right?

Making.. WOW.. that is alot. I was hoping to have 3 myself but I didnt.. I only got 2 :(

Im sure with all of urs u will get one to stick.. Have a talk w/ the sperm and ur eggs on teh morning of the IUI.. Never know that might help.. hehe.

I know that I did and Im hoping that it does help.. LOL!

I had the 3rd and final IUI yesterday morning.

5 Follicles that could play a role and 19 million little swimmers plus DH and I BDing last night, this morning, tonight and tomorrow.

Something happened with this IUI that did not happen from the last 2. I was so uncomfortable from about 6pm last night til about 2 am. The cramps and pressure were really bad an then this morning I woke up ready to vomit.

Has anyone ever had such severe symptoms after and IUI and what was the outcome??

Now I just have to sit in the 2WW anyone wanna join me?

I am in my 2ww! I felt immense pressure from the IUI! No Nausea, but I hurt til the Ovidrel was out of my system. Good luck!

Thanks Girls!!

Yes Typhani I had my IUI, I am currently 5dpIUI and the oddest thing is going on.

I bought some cheapy HPT strips, 25 of them so I could test every day until the trigger shot was gone so I could see the baseline then start testing again at 12dpIUI til I get my BFP.

Yesterday I did the HPT and it was finally BFN so that was good the trigger shot is now out of my system I thought. But then I was feeling weird yesterday like I was O'ing again so I did an OPK and it was ++++ Could it be that I ovulated 2 times in 6 days. It cant be the trigger shot anymore because then the HPT would have still be negative...

Fortunately yesterday was our anniversary so of course Bding happened but....

Do you think maybe the 3 little ones were jealous and decided to join the 5 that already played a role?? Do you think I could really be ovulating again??

Help me girls I am going nuts!!!

I wish I could answer this for you. But I would be going nuts too!!! It truly sounds like you ovulated twice. Hmmmm? Good question for your RE or one of the docs.

I thought you could still get faint positives on your opks after ovulation.I have even heard of some women using their opks to tell if they are pregnant.When are you going to test with a hpt again?

no such thing as a faint + on an OPK :)

An OPK can be used as a preggo test BUT not until you are far into the pregnancy, like a few months.

I have been doing the HPTs every day since the IUI and yesterday and today they were neg which means that the trigger shot is no longer in my system

I only did the OPK yesterday and today because I felt like I was ovulating and sure enough a Dark Pink line both times...

That is why I am going nuts because it doesnt make sense. I left a message for Dr Q so maybe i will get an answer soon. I feel dumb calling my RE and asking.....

All these dates already passed....Thats why I switched and did the days til HPT one cause the 2ww one kept messing up....LOL

Making.. yes it did so I left it alone.. HEHE! Oh well.. Af is due on Monday but w/ the progesterone suppositories it could be late or not come at all so I will be testing on the 6th which I have a feeling will be neg since Im not feeling it this month :(

I have been very moody and irratable today so not sure if its af or the progesterone.
