Heart murmur?

I was diagnosed with a slight heart murmur at 8.5 weeks? Has this happened to anyone else? If so, what does this mean?

There are normal heart murmurs that happen to almost all pregnant women...make sure that yours is one of these, and not something else

I hav a heart murmur as well I am 19 weeks today..my doc said it is very normal and not to worrie at all..so :) you'll be fine i am sure..but Dr. Q is right make sure your doc is sure it is nothing eles :)

I was born with a hole in the heart but luckily never neeeded surgery as more or less healed on its own was only sign of pin prick, i have a heart murmer too, have had it all my life, i had to anti biotics before any op and in labour i have to have a intravenous anti biotic drip, good luck hopefully urs will go once u have had baby x

how did you know? did you feel it? i have been feeling my heart pumping almost irratically sometimes and it is making me really nervous. i have an ob appt. on saturday and i am going to ask her about it - i never felt this way with my 1st pregnancy. let me know if you find anything out! thanks.

My dr. checked it at her office - it can be heard more when your heart beats faster. I have to get an EKG done sometime soon....

For a heart murmer they can mostly be picked up by listening with a stethiscope (sp) as it sounds like an extra noise or echo
