HCG Shot. & Pregnancy Test

Too early to test. U shud test 13 Days after HCG shot was given. Now u can be sure the HCG shot is out of ur system and nomore false +.

Definately it can change..u took the test too early. so that can be wrong..

you took the test WAY too early. the good thing is that you got a negative meaning that the hcg has left your system so that if you get a positive, you'll know it's the real deal. i would wait until 12dpo if you can and test again. if you just can't take it, then try testing 10-11dpo, but do it with a very sensitive hpt like first response or answer. some of the others that i've tried on the same day came back negative while first response and answer showed positive and now i am preggo. good luck, i hope you get a BFP!!!!

i forgot to tell u that i took the hcg shot (10,000) and for 2 months in a row, it took 9 days before i got a negative result. i started testing at 10dpo, but the line was so faint, it was like i was imagining it. at 11dpo, i could see a barely faint line.

I just retested today - 10 days after the shot and it was negative. I took the first response one...i'm so sad. I really can't handle another heartache. Should I lose hope and accept it wont happen this cycle or is there still a chance? Please let me know what you think

the earliest you should start checking an hpt like oliver said elaine is at 12dpo, so you could still wind up being positive..

Well I test today and it was negative. Hoping this will change by Wednesday which is 14po. I just wanted to keep everyone updated. 'm feeling pretty down and preparing myself for a final negative. I hate that this is happening...who knew this was so difficult?

awww elaine I am soo sorry. Try not to get too discouraged. Maybe wait another couple days to retest. Maybe you ovulated later than you thought and the HCG just isn't high enough. I know what it's like TTC, but I've only been trying for 10 months and that is killing me, so far all negatives for me too. I start my clomid this week, so we'll see. Lots of baby dust to you sweetie!! One thing though, don't give up!! It will happen. I'll say a prayer for you :)

I took an exam today and it was negative. I'll retest later on this week but we'll see...I don't know why I think it would change. You read all these stories of people getting a positive test early on. I've only seen negative...We'll see what happens. Anyone had a similar experience?

I'm sorry Elaine. Don't lose hope... it will happen for you. it takes alot of us a few tries before we get that BFP. We're here for you so don't lose heart hun.

On a positive note, now that a/f is here, you can try again! I always find the 2ww to be the worst time of trying.

Well ladies just a followup on this. They found 3 mature follicles yesterday and gave me an HCG shot. let's hope for the best. Can't wait to test again

Elaine.. I am praying that u get a BFP this month. I know how it is to wait. I am waiting to O and it seems like it is never going to come. LOL!

How many DPO are u know? I am suppose to O on Friday and that day cant come fast enough. I jsut had an HSG done last thursday so I am hoping that will help me get preggo but I have to wait and see what happens.
