HCG shot

We can usually test through blood work and get a relible reading 10 days after ovulation. When you take the hCG shot, ovulation occurs about 36 hrs thereafter. So that if you took the shot on Wed, July 11th, assuming you took it in the evening, then you ovulated on the 13th. You can get a quantitative hCG blood draw on the 23rd and know then or use over the counter predictor kits which would turn positive usually one to two days after it would be picked up in the blood. OPKs therefor can pick up a pregnancy test 11-13 days after ovulation.
