HCG & Progesterone Levels

Hcg is awesome. Maybe try the shots instead for progesterone! Congrats :)

they may have you take the shots since that way all the medication goes in your body.

They are intermuscular shots but worth it!!

My progesterone level on 7DPO for this pregnancy was 14.3, and that was really low for me, so they waited till I got a BFP or not, and of course I did, so they RX me prometrium to take once at night, and thats it, and my little guy is still in there, im 22weeks now, and took the meds till 12weeks preggo!

You should be totally fine on the 2x a day!

Thanks!!! I'm thrilled!!! I've actually been on the suppositories 2x a day since ovulation so they may move on to the shots as kelli & chels mentioned - which is frightening - but definitely worth it. So, I shouldn't worry right now that my progesterone levels are low?

No you should be great, and doing the suppositories 2x a day should do it perfect, cause again mine was 14.3, and usually my Progesterone levels were around 22-26, so they did it once a day, and Noah Austin is doing just fine and kicking :)

Thats awesome our home office is based out of Austin Texas, its called RANCO and we are a branch off of them here in South Carolina, its family owned here so not as big as them over there.

what are your progesterone levels supposed to be at? They started me on progesterone right away through IVF

They will do that when you do IUI and IVF and stuff. They just keep you on them, and until 12weeks usually, from what I have heard. You should be totally fine Krs

yup, she is right - they do give you progesterone every round of IVF and some docs do it with IUI cycles too, depends on your doc with that one. Mine did. I never had any issues with progesterone levels but my doc said since they are manipulating my cycle and making it do what they wanted they didnt want to risk anything with something they could very well help. They just gave the progesteone and it doesnt hurt anything so why not take it?
