hcg levels not doubleing

I'm sorry to hear this. How far along are you and what did your doctor say? Yes, HCG levels should double every 48 hours.

Cynthia, Why did u get a Beta test this far along? Ive read here that after a certain number, HCG do not double. Im not sure though if you reached that stage but you could very well be. At this stage, ur Dr can see the baby via U/S.

Also how many DPO are u?

I agree, at some point, which is usually above 5,000 mIU/mL, the hCG may not double, and only at this time ultrasound should be performed like HopeN said

hCG monitoring should always be done at the same lab also, if not, we would still have liked to see a higher increase, but only an u/s can say anything

if you also have significant pain, please let your doc know for ectopic pregnancy precautions and be under the supervision of your doc

thank u, no pain just stress and headaches, this friday the 25th i see the doc again. thanks soo much this makes me feel alot better and puts my mind at ease for my next appt. and o i will get an u/s @ that visit.

i think 5-6wks my last u/s on friday the 18th showed me to b 5wks 4days. feelin a lil nervous since my appt is tomorrow, plz say a prayer for us. thank u!
