Hi im new to this site. I have been searching the net looking for answers and this am decided i should just ask for some help.

Right this is my situation. I have pcos and do not ovulate on my own. my doc precribe 100mg clomid which i started on the 8th feb - 12th feb 09. i ovulated on the 19th. i am now experiancing slightly sore breasts and for the past two days i have had excessive white creamy discharge. is this normal when taking clomid or could it be a preg sign. I feel like everyday i am searching for a sign that i am but can't stop myself!!!! does anyone know what the chances of falling 1st time round on clomid are. My doc has only prescribed clomid for 3 months, if no preg i will have a ovary drilling havent even looked at what that is. One step at a time. Sounds exstremly sore though....

hello emma welcome to the site ,i to have pcos and i was on 100mg of clomid for 6 months and the very first month i took it i feel preggo but sadly lost the baby at 10 weeks and i had the discharge as well and the sore breats ,so i will cross my fingers for you that u r pregnant i start to have the injections in a weeks time and then have iui done but i hope clomid is the wonder drug for you as it has been for alot of women on here but dont get discouraged if it isnt positive as it is only ur first time so all the very best of luck to you and ur partner on ur baby making journey

hi lesley, thank you, my fingers are crossed for you too.. and sorry about your lose. im quite positive at the moment (im on the thinking that we will get there however long it takes) Thankfully i have been blessed with a son already he is 5 (b4 i had pcos) so i do have alot to be thankfull for. what are the injections, my doc said that if after 3 months i don't fall on clomid i will have an ovary drilling, have you heard of this or had it. cant seem to fing many people that have had this. it is so ice to speak to someone in the same position. my bf is great but sometimes i think i confuse him and go on a bit.

I have just found out i have PCOS, and am only 20 and was asking the same question in regaurds to clomid i take my first tablet tomorrow, so your not lone!!

im sorry emma i do not know to much about ovary drilling but i have heard that it can be uite high in success rates after it has been done and you go back on the meds ..the injections i start on are called gonal f i inject myself daily and every 2 days go in for blood work and ultrasounds to see if my follicles are grown to the right size and that i dont have to many they cancel it if i do and if not then i get a trigger shot and do that the night before i go back in and then they inseminate me with my hubbys sperm after it is washed ( he doesnt have any problems with his sperm )they do that so all the abnormal sperm dont get a chance to swim ..lol..and then hopefully i get pregnant 2 weeks later when i go back for the hcg test xx keep me posted as to how things go for you ..
