yes once you get a +opk you ovulate about 12 to 36 hrs after that +opk. ***babydust***

but i then got a negative OPK that very morning after my positive, and we had sex very late that night of my negative OPK. Do you still think its possible?

yes once you get a +opk there is really no need to keep on using the opk's because it will not really tell you anything. it's the surge that is measured and it can last for a few hrs to the entire length of your 2ww. keep the faith and plus is always best to kept of bding for a few days after that +opk.

just remember also your fertile days are 5 days prior leading up to the next day after ovulation per the lifespan of the egg.

so yes very possible with natural bding and also depending many variables of you and your dh's most couples have about 20% to 25% chance each cycle to become preggo I'm hoping it's a outcome for you this cycle. ***babydust***

also lead me guide you to the search box (top right hand corner of each page) and the bottom of each screen (the dark green area) also there is loads of wonderful information just like what you are asking above that has been answered and you can read other comments/threads and written information for the dr's on this site. The funny thing is that this site has been around for a few years now and these types of questions have been ask many many many and many times. lol!!!!good luck to you!!!

thank you Mojito, you have been a great help!!!

oops! i did not know that, my husband and I only meant to TTC again next month, since i have only just had one cycle since my D&C. We were not carefull that night, we had gone out for drinks. (never usually drink but needed to get out)

i am only 5 DPO, and breasts are a little tender and feel bloated.

Since i have already had 2 mc, i know how it feels to be preg, and i have that night in the back of my mind now!!

anyway, it will be a blessing if so!!! its actually even better than not being planned!!!

thank you again.

you're welcome Theresa (and love the pic on your profile-great movie Ice Age lol) it's ok things like that happen all the time. Most of the ppl in this world are a result of the parents having a few drinks. lol!!!! Sounds like you have ovulated per the breast being tender very good sign of ovulation:))). Keep us posted and (((Hugs))) with your miscarriages I have had many myself but I'm very preggo now with the great work of my RE's, and other great ppl in the medical field:))) So keep the faith love it will happen and welcome to the site also.

Tam that is very normal because of what happens after ovulation the cramping and the temp spike due to the left over follice and at point (right after ovulation) will fill up with blood vessels and blood creating what is called the corpus luteum, which pound for pound, secretes the highest quantity of hormones out of any gland within the human body (Progesterone and Estrogen).

Thanks for the well wishes everything is going wonderful with the pregnancy:))) ***babydust*** to you!!!!
