So here's my story. I already have a daughter who is 3 1/2 years old and me and fiance have decided to try for a baby. My periods are regular and I know when I ovulate as I have been using the ovulation tests strips, the ovulation saliva predictor and bbt. I ovulated on the 19th and we did the baby dance on the 18th,19th, and 20th because we are trying for a boy and my doctor said that having sex closer to or on ovulation day increases your chances because the male sperm swims faster but doesn't swim as far. As well as me having an orgasm before my fiance because the females orgasm has something called alkaline which is what the male needs to survive and do do it doggy style because this position is deep and allows the male sperm to swim faster and to get a head start and it doesn't have to swim so far.. In addition to havin my fiance drink coffee 15 mins before we have intercourse to give the male sperm jolt. Anyways at (1dpo- i had mild cramps) (2dpo-mild cramps aching bones, restless at night, frequent urination throughout the night) (3dpo- more mild cramping, very yellow urine, aching bones, frequent urination, feeling wet all day long metal mouth, restless during the night again, twinges in abdomen) (4dpo-cramping on and off, aching bones, stomach felt uncomfortable no matter what I did, restless at night again, very yellow urine again, feeling wet all day long) (5dpo this is today restless at night again. very bad cramps, feeling wet again, frequent urination, bloating, gassy, and tired) based on this does it sound like I could be pregnant mind you I don't get cramps ever with my period and my period isn't due until Nov 2nd. Any advice or stories will be greatly appreciated.. Thanks

Hi Jasmine, The baby does not implant in the uterus and result in a pregnancy until atleast 6 DPO. So, the symptoms you experience could be from other things or simply progesterone produced as a result of ovulation and the same harmone is produced during pregnancy as well which would be early at this point. This by no means states you wont be pregnant this cycle, waiting is the key until atleast 12 DPO when a test can detect a pregnancy. Also, IVF + ICSI is the only proven method to decide a baby's sex no matter what else you may hear. Thats what REs state. Every other methods still have a 50-50 chance of a boy or a girl. Good luck and hope you conceive a baby boy this month!

thank you very much for the helpful advice. tHIS IS OUR FIRST MONTH TRYING but I am hopeful that it will be this month or next month. I know that I am very fertile and I have no health problems that would prevent me every month. I KNOW THAT i ovulate regularly every month. I know sometimes it can sometimes take longer than you want it too. I am ok with waiting. I have a daughter and she was not planned so I do not remember what happened with the symptoms. Today I 6DO and I have noticed that i AM RESTLESS, BACk pain, frequent urination, cramping on and off and a snot like thing comes out of my mouth. its weird. Gross too. sorry if too much info...

Tamm you should test today, they say to wait until 14dpo but since you are 11dpo now you might get a faint positive..**sticky glue to you***
