i went on the injection march 2006 and had my last injection june 2008, all through jan 2009 ive had pains like period pains, i came on 9th of feb and at first it was heavey but then became like a normal period lasting 8 days, should i expect to come on this month around now or is the depo still effecting me, im also trying for a baby, thanx.

Return to fertility is significantly delayed after stopping the DepoProvera shot...with resumption of ovulatory cycles many times not occuring for a year after last shot
One simply has to wait for regular cycles to return...The only other solution in the interim if one truly desires to achieve a pregnancy would be to visit an RE who can provide injectable gonadotropins
