The long Journey of 4 years, 5 Miscarriages and 1 chemical.
WOW, I still cant believe I am Posting my BFP Announcement. I have been waiting for this for soooo long!!
Anyway here's how it happened:
Feb 11th 2009: was rushed to the E.R for abdominal pain, bloating etc. Dr said Cat Scan showed I had a perforated Bowel
Feb 12th 2009: had exploratory laporascopy. I say exploratory because they didnt find anything when they went in. ?????
Feb 16th 2009: Discharged that evening from Hospital. We Discussed how we were out this cycle and would explore the IVF options this spring
Feb 20th 2009: Felt a bit of O twinges so I POAS and to my surprise there was a line on the opk. Not +++ but close. Told DH I wasnt sitting this cycle out no matter what in case it was the 'O' we have been waiting for that we were just going to have to get creative
Feb 21st 2009: OPK getting Darker. Did home insemination with vegetable oil and turkey baster and Bd'd naturally 6 hours later
Feb 22nd 2009: OPK Control & test line equal. Did home insemination with vegetable oil and turkey baster and Bd'd naturally 6 hours later
Feb 23rd 2009: OPK Control lighter than TEST Line ++++OPK++++. BD'd one time naturally
Feb 24th 2009: Test line lighter than Control again. BD'd anyway naturally for fun!
Feb 25th 2009: Surge over test line almost gone
Feb 27th 2009: Started Progesterone Suppositories 100mg twice a day
March 3rd 2009: Followed up with Surgeon. Sutures removed
March 5th 2009: Followed up with GI scheduled colonoscopy for March 18th. Started new meds.
March 4, 2009: Started POAS with HPT's 8dpo Shadow Line appears on HPT
March 6th 2009: 10dpo Shadow Line Darker
March 9th 2009: 13dpo Even Darker
March 10th 2009: Couldnt wait til 15dpo
14dpo and a Faint Pink Line Appears
March 11th 2009: Suspense is Killing me I break out the good first response Digital and Early Response Tests.
15dpo and We're PREGNANT!!
Got to the doctors at 920am to get Beta Drawn at 23opm they call with a BIG CONGRATULATIONS!! Beta 63, YIPPEE!!
**Called GI canceled colonscopy and advised was stopping meds per RE**
