Dr Q, iam in the 2nd Tri, 23 weeks. Took Micozole 7th week, Terconazole last week and its only gotten worse. Today she Rxd Diflucan 150 mg.

So, my question here is Is it safe to take Fluconazole 150 mg if I took Terazol just a week ago? Also the med ReadMe says that it stays longer in the body..Any harm? One site says that it can cause birth defects with Fluconazole? Any advise? Thanks!!!!

little to no harm taking these antifungals during pregnancy, especially diflucan 150mg x1 given orally as this is given by many Ob/Gyns in pregnancy pretty frequently...

Thank you Dr Q, if not for your assurance I dont think I would have taken it at all...It is indeed a life saver. The symptoms have gone for the very first time, I have a culture scheduled to be taken in 2 weeks and hopefully its gone for good.
