First IUI Tomorrow

Howdy from Texas !! Good luck to you. I just had my IUI on Jan 23rd and am in the dreaded 2WW. I had 3 follicles. Did the nurse give you someting for your lining? I was under the impression that they could give you something for it. Yes, it is very possible to get pregnant with only 1 follicle...all it takes is one. They say that having mutliple follicles only increases your chances. In my research of different Fertility Chats, I have seen several women who got pregnant with only 1 mature follicle and others who had 3-4 mature follicles got BFN's. It just depends on what fate has in store for us. Good Luck again and keep us posted please.

Than you Divamama! What part of Texas? I'm originally from Texas, but now I live in Florida. I hope you are right about the one follicle. And no, the nurse didn't give me anything for the lining she told me to continue taking the baby aspirin and that it may grow by tomorrow morn. (Fingers Crossed)

Hi, I had my first IUI last Friday. I was on 100mg of Clomid. I'm not being monitired by US so don't know how many follies there were. Good luck IUI buddies!

So I had my first IUI on weds. Jan 28. Only one follicle 21mm and it was still hanging around so we did a second IUI on Thurs. Jan 29. and it had already released. My lining was still 6.8 and they like it to be at least 8, but she said that the progesterone suppositories should help so I hope they do. The IUI wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. Just uncomfortable. Thank God! So now I'm in the dreaded 2ww : o So I'm going to try my hardest not to test early. I really hope we are blessed. Baby dust to everyone!

talk to babyquestions, kristin. she had a very thin lining and she got preggo and only had that 1 follie, plus i think her prog level was really low.

I didnt think that the lining grew after ovulation..... ask her if hers got thicker, k?
