I did take metformin 500mg a day for about 3 to 5 days 2of those days being cycle days. And for the 1st time in like 5yrs I did get the ewcm!!! I was so happy but it only lasted for what looked like an hour or two but the time I got home that night it was gone!! I got the doc. to Rx it to me and I am now taking it twice a day. Question is when do I BD and how long should I wait after ewcm?

I am taking 1500 Mgs a day of glucophage.

Im insulin resistant so it helps with straightening out everything for me.

Ive been noticing alot of EWCM, I even have lots of wet looking CM after I ovulate. I say as long as you see the EWCM, baby dance away! It will never hurt!

I'm glad that Metformin (most effective dose is at 1500mg/day) is the only thing you need to get ewcm, and let me tell ya, when anyone sees this after their period (usually around day 11-13) it's time to start dancing away, that is of course to do the "baby dance" since most people will ovulate in about 2-3 days.

One needs to ovulate to have menses 14days later...and ewcm is usually noted right before ovulation..You can learn more about the menstrual cycle Suchi searching the word "pituitary" on this site and finding a post I started...
