Nicole Congrats!!! I have a similar situation except I had 3 children then started having problems. Had 2 m/c then an ectopic within 9 months. I also lost my right tube. Did you have the test to see if your left tube was clear or did you just start trying? I think I'm going to have it done after my next AF. My ectopic surgery was 4 weeks ago today so still recovering from major surgery. Mine was at 6 weeks 1 day and unexpected b/c my progesterone was so high and my HCG was more than doubling. Just wondering what others have done after ectopic. I'm SOOOO nervous of it happening again!

Waiting...I actually had my ectopic in March of 2007. This was 3 months after my 1st miscarriage (december of 2006). The tube the baby was in was a mess (so the doctor said). My dh and I are sure that everything from the miscarriage did not remove itself and therefore the baby got stuck. I had to have my right tube removed and while in there the doctor looked at my left and said it was ok! That's how I knew! I got the ok to go ahead and try again 3 months after that! That was when I got pregnant with my beautiful daughter! I just had a miscarriage in Feb and opted for a D & C so I didnt run into the same problem again! It has been a long crazy journey but I have learned so much!

Sorry to hear about your ectopic...when they checked my numbers before doing surgery they were going up too..the doctor on call almost sent me home and then the terrible pain came back almost 24 hours exactly after it started the day before! I knew something was wrong because I was sure pregnancy wasn't supposed to feel like that! I knew something was wrong when I had my ectopic because I didn't get a positive on a preggo test until 2 days after my missed period. With my daughter and this pregnancy, I got a positive 10 dpo...thats is how I know/knew that the pregnancy was going to be ok!
