FET protocol, is it normal to have menstrual like cramping on the estrogen?

I am in the middle of an FET protocol currently on 3 .1 vivelle patches. This is technically day 22 of my cycle because we wanted a specific Dr. to perform our transfer which is scheduled for 07/06. My question is, is it normal to have menstrual like cramping on the estrogen? Also, I have some dark brown discharge when I use the restroom. I am worried my cycle is a loss.
