Samona, if you are younger than 35 and have been trying for over a year, you need to see an obgyn to run a Fertility workup...the doctors will usually test your FSH levels, have an ultrasound done for your ovaries and they'll also check your partner's sperm count to make sure everything is ok. Once all this teting is done they'll guide you through all the various treatments and help out there to help you get pregnant. Now if you're over 35 years old you should see a doctor after six months of trying to conceive without success.
