DH and i have taken the fertil aid brand from www.early-pregnancy-tests.com and we liked them. They can make you kinda sick to your tummy so make sure you eat or take them one at a time (you have to take 3 a day!). The month we used them we got pregnant but sadly lost the baby at 5.5 weeks. We decided to go the fertility meds the next 2 months with only hubby taking the fertil aid and his sperm count went from 8 million to 18 million. I dont know if that is what did it but im sure it didnt hurt. My RE looked at the bottle and said it looked good and wouldnt hurt the process but couldnt say it would get us pregnant. okay ladies, so as you may know i'm no longer taking clomid, (due to my insurance i can no longer see my doctor) so ive decided that something is better than nothing at all. so i was on babyhopes.com and found 2 different meds that pretty much do the same thing but i was wondering which one would work better...has anyone used either FertilAid or Fertility Blend, and which would you reccomend???

here is an article from newsweek that i thought may help since you dont have insurance anymore. THis talks about infertility and your diet, very interesting but rather long. Anyway, also i have read that eating a lot of yams in the first 2 weeks of your cycle is the same as taking the drug Clomid.

i dont know that it has a miscarriage issue? It spose to just help you to have a regular cycle so that its easier to pin point an ovulation date..... maybe if you are conserned about it you can take it up until a week after ovulation and then stop and then start again if you get AF. You can also just take a pre-natal vitamin while you are TTC and skip the fertil aid. I took it and actually ran out b4 i ovulated so i wasnt taking it and i got pregnant but lost the baby at 5.5 weeks. I really dont think it had anything to do with me getting pregnant or loosing the baby -
My RE says they are good but couldnt say that they would get me pregnant - we used the sperm meets egg plan and got pregnnat the 1st time doing it and it didnt stick.... it was very dificult but now that its been awhile its nice to know that we are able to get pregnant - thats a big plus.

i dont think that the fertile aid made me misscarry - i think it was just bad luck to be honest. i had another miscarriage and had not been taking the fertile aid. Thx for your kind words geraldine :)
Dawn - if you google "sperm meets egg plan" a site will come up and it just gives you a good plan and tips to maxamize your chances at conception.

I've been taking fertility aid for almost 2 weeks. I think maybe the reason why some people are miscarrying are just due to their hormones eg/maybe not enough progesterone..my Dr. said if I got a BFP while taking Fertility aid I would still need prometrium till the fetus takes over...am going to talk about at my 1st RE appt. next week.
