Irfan... if u have been having regular intercourse for a year now then I say its time to see a doc and get some test done. They will check your sperm count and check some blood work on your wife. They may also do a ultra sound to make sure she has no cysts.

Does ur wife have regular periods? Does she know if she ovulates or not each month? If she doesnt ovualte then she will not get pregnant but the doc can give her meds to help her out with that.

On average.. it takes a healthly couple that has no problems a year to get pregnant. Each couple has a 20-25 % chance per month to conceive.
