Everyone read!

I need updates on everyone! Sorry I haven't been around much...

I thought I had gotten away with no post partum depression.. but I didn't. It kicked in within in the past month and a half or so... more anxiety than depression. I'm going to see a psychiatrist tomorrow, but the urgent care doctor gave me some celexa about 2 weeks ago to get through until tomorrow. I'm doing okay though.. just so stressed.. to the point I itch all over... want to claw my skin off really.. and I grind my teeth.. bad enough i had to have one resurfaced...

I've got a migraine today.. but other than that I've been pretty good.. I seem to be catching up on house work more.. and Christian is getting betterw ith taking naps, and not crying when I can't hold him. Knock on wood!I've also lost more weight, I'm now sitting at 39 lbs lost since delivery, I weigh 156 as of this morning. I was 195 when I delivered. That feels good!

I'm also having surgery on my bladder October 1st b/c I'm still leaking urine 3 months after giving birth... I'm nervous about that... I won't be able to lift Christian for at least a week...

Check out the new updates to my blog.. I update at least weekly. www.aaronkoppfamily.blogspot.com

And everyone, tell me how you are doing.. post belly pics and baby pics here... I miss talking to you all!

Love you guys alot!

September 03, 2008

Oh sweetie! I am so sorry your going thru this. I can relate to the post partum depression. I got it with my last baby. It was so bad. I shut my doors and curtains, and wouldn't taklk to anyone. It is very hard to get thru. I wish I would have tried a medication to help with it. Does the one your on seem to be helping at all? I sure hope so. I am SO SOOOOOOOO sorry you have to have surgery! OMG how bad that must suck. I bet the worst part will be not getting to hold ur little man for a week. On the brighter side of things you look AMAZING! You have a very beautiful family and your a GREAT mommy. You will get thru this. If you EVER want to talk, Im here for you! ((( hugs ))))

September 03, 2008

The med I'm on seem to help at first.. but it doesn't seem to be helping now... I'm hoping the psychiatrist will be able to figure out something safe while breastfeeding and yet still effective...

I'll be able to hold him after the surgery, just not lift him.. someone willh ave to hand him to me while I'm sitting down.

Thanks for saying I look amazing.. lol.. I wish I thought I did!!! :)

Thanks for all the support ladies, and offers to talk if I need to! :) I'm sure I'll make it through this just fine.. jsut a small bump in the road!

September 03, 2008

That's right... it is a small bump and you are a strong woman! You will do just fine :)

But you do look amazing like it or not! LOL

Love ya girl :)

September 03, 2008

Hey Meghan :) I'm sorry you're still itching, how frustrating is that?!! I bet your migraine is from grinding your teeth, like a tension migraine. Hey, when you sleep do you notice that you tighten your whole body up, like your fists and keep your legs up to your belly and your mouth tightly shut? I sleep like that, it's very annoying. Jay has said several times that if I am having a bad dream when he goes to touch me I am so tight all over. I'm a teeth grinder too. I'm glad your appt is tomorrow and good luck with that, vent away with the doc too, it will really make you feel so much better. How's my little man Christian doing? Any updates with him, his latest tricks??? He's so cute!!!

Nothing new to report here, I'm back to work driving the big old yellow school bus, getting up at 5am every morning and waking Cam up at 5:30am to get to work for 6:15am. It's a very looooong day for me now. I'm trying to get him on a new work schedule so he's in bed around 9pm since he's up so early now. It's not going so well..lol.

Give us an update tomorrow after your appt if you feel up to it. I'm always here for ya!!! (((hugs)))

Caryn, I also got my BFP last September. Sept 10th!!! Good luck with your retrieval :)

September 03, 2008

Thanks Sar- Not to take up Meghans post, but are you able to take Cameron with you on the bus? If so how is that working out, I know the Bus CO. you worked for was not going to let that happen...

Wow Sept seems like a lucky month! I hope it will be for me too :)

September 03, 2008

Hey Meghan! (((HUGS)) Long time no talk!! We miss you!! I am 30 weeks and 1 day. Babies are doing great and their mama well she is coping lol! I am starting to get really uncomfortable but it is for a good cause so I will put up with it. I went to see the doctor yesterday for my 30 week check up and she said everything looks great and is estimating the babies weight at around 3 pounds each but we will know more after the fetal assessment next week. I will be taking a new belly shot next week at 31 weeks so I will send you a copy!!! Take care!! Hope you and Christian are doing great!! Love ya lots!!!

September 03, 2008

Oh I guess I should mention that I only have 5 weeks and 6 days left until I am considered full-term for twins (according to my doctor) and that by 38 weeks I would be induced for sure!

September 03, 2008

Caryn there were a bunch of drivers that they were going to lose so they changed their minds and let us bring our kids. Thank G!!!! It's working out ok so far. He sleeps in the morning and in the afternoon the elementary kids entertain him while I drive. :)

September 03, 2008

Hi hun sorry your feeling down..I felt this with Carleigh too..it is so hard to get back to feeling like your self..I am here if you ever need to talk..it's truly amazing being a mommy but overwhelming and crazy at first too..

September 03, 2008

Oh my update is I am now 25 weeks 4 days ( somehow I thought I was a week further but nope just wishful thinking i guess.

September 03, 2008

wow liane!!! you are getting so close!

September 04, 2008

Hey Meg!!! Sorry to here you are going through this! Hugs to you and your fam! I hope your doc can steer you in the right direction to help you get back to your old self! Please let us know how it goes! Is your surgery out patient? That stinks too! But the weight loss is great! I'm sure you are looking fantastic! How is Christian and baby food going? I hope still well.

Caden is good........pretty happy overall and sleeping through the night. But I'm just waiting for that to change. I don't want to get to comfortable! :) LOL!

Take care and please keep us posted! Hugs!!!

September 04, 2008

Okay, Fran...I need some tips. Caden is sleeping through the night. I'm so jealous now! lol

Cam sleeps through the night as far as no feedings go but he wakes every darn night at 3am like clockwork for the pacifier, and then again in an hour and then the next hour. Very frustrating. I thought this would stop once I went back to work. He now goes to bed between 9 and 9:30pm and wakes at 5:30am to go to work with me, but he still wakes at that darn 3am, 4am and 5am for the pacifier! HELPPPPPPPPPPP

September 04, 2008

Oh.....that stinks! On of my gf's son is doing this too! He was great and then all of the sudden he switched. Is there anyway that maybe you could give him a bottle at that time. I really don't have any other ideas. Or swaddling again. I know that you stopped that, right.........is he sleeping belly or back? I'm sorry I'm just trying to think of anything.

September 04, 2008

Aw sarah i'm sorry you're having trouble with Cameron! I hope it gets better.. I wish I had good advice for you...

I went to the psychiatrist today. She is keeping me on Celexa 2x a day, and ambien at night. She thinks if I can stop waking up every hour I'll feel better during the day. I'm also going to see a psychologist tommorrow for counseling.

The doctor yesterday called me in some Fioricet for my migraine and I go see him Monday to talk about long term treatment options with that.

September 04, 2008

Hi Meghan,

I'm so sorry your going through all this. I also suffer from panic attacks and anxiety. My obgyn put me on this great medacine and it's completely safe during pregnany but not safe to take while breastfeeding. It's called Buspar and it's strictly for anxiety and it works! My doctor said sometimes women can get pre-pardem anxiety (which of course I got!) so I take zoloft 75mg a day (which is very similar to celexa but ok to take during pregnancy) and Buspar to take care of the anxiety. I hope this helps you sweetie! Dont worry your definitly not alone! I hope the new doctor and meds help you! Get some sleep too!

September 04, 2008

Glad to hear you got something to try Meghan! I hope this helps you to fight the post partum stuff! Hugs to you for taking steps to take care of the situation and not let it get worse! You are great and can't wait to hear how things go tomorrow! hugs!

September 04, 2008

I'm sorry you're going through this Meghan, but the best thing is that you're doing something about it and getting help. That's great! I really hope the meds do help, let us know how the psychologist apt goes.

September 08, 2008

Thanks Fran, my mil had him over the weekend and she did feed him a bottle at 3am, but I really hate going backwards like that. Last night he did better, he went down at 9pm and woke up only twice. I'm gonna ask my ped tomorrow at his 4mnth check up.

Meghan, I'm glad it's going good for you, did the pill help the migraine? Are you sleeping better with the Ambien?

Aww Meghan so sorry you are going through this...I know alot of women suffer from it and Im sure I will as well if little Mia ever decides to come out. So glad that little christian is doing well. Update on me Im overdue. My due date was Sept 5th. I go back to dr on sept 11th to see if they are going to induce or make me wait another couple of days. The reason being is that they are hoping i will progress on my own. I have been 30% effaced and 0 dilation for 2 weeks in a row...Its so frustrating, Im just ready for the next step...
