Last month on cd3 my fsh was 7.7 and estrogen was 80. RE said estrogen is elevated so this month on cd3 I repeated the blood work for estrogen and its at 70. He put me on BCP and Aygestin for 5 days. I am to repeat blood work on monday. Is this medication to lower my estrogen? I'm 41 and what I have read is my chances of concieving without IVF is rare. Do they prescribe medication alone for women over 40, like injectables?

I dont knwo about the estrogen levels but the b/c pills usually just let you start fresh and give your ovaries a break til you get off of them, could help you :)
