Ectopic pregnancy

i was 2/12 weeks late on my period and never got a positive result on HPT then i came on my period it lasted the normal 5 days but seemed a bit lighter in colour, now 7 days after i got my period i am having really bad pains in the lower left of my back and front....Could i be having an ectopic pregnancy ? or would it of happened already ?

It's unlikely that you have an ectopic pregnancy given the negative hpt result...however, best to recheck again just to make sure..if still negative, then other things can be causing the pain and only a doctor's exam can determine the cause..
