DR. Testing early?

Hi Dr. Q, I know you say that one should get results usually around 12dpo I am curious if I'm still getting a BFN at 12dpIUI can I really hope to get a BFP in a day or two or shall I start to prepare for the worst? Don't mean to sound so negative- sorry!! The doc's office told me to take a hpt on Wed.7/23 and if it is neg. stop taking my Crinone. I know I'm a little early but I think most women tend to get their BFP at 12dpo.
