I just got back from the doc. I found out I am pregnant!!! They did an ultrasound to check on the cyst that I had. It is gone. But he saw what he said looked like a collapsed cyst on my right side. He did not see anything in the uterus. But wanted to keep a check on me to make sure it wasnt a tubercal pregnancy.

My Questions.....

1. I am probably about 4 weeks preggo...is it too early to see anything in the uterus?

2. What is a collapsed cyst?

3. I just missed my period today. Would I get a + pregancy test this early if it was a tubercal pregnancy?

4. At 4 weeks shouldnt I have seen a gestional sac?

too early to see anything, this may be a normal corpus luteal cyst and an ectopic would still give a positive hpt..

A gestational sac may not be visible until the 5th wk and/or an hCG of >1,200 mIU/mL

yes, a thickened lining is still very much possible if a tubal pregnancy as this is not diagnostic
